About Cedar Valley Box Company

Cedar Valley Box Company opened its doors back in the late 1990's as a supplier to a local crematory needing pet cremation urns. It remained a micro-wholesale business until 2019, when Doug and Michelle saw the possibilities and purchased the company. Since that time, we have grown and expanded operations to include Cedar Valley Box Shop our retail division and Cedar & Co. our business-to-business engraved pet urns offering. We're proud to be one of the very last American Manufacturers offering handcrafted cedar products sourced and MADE IN USA.

About Us

With over 30 years of Manufacturing and Engineering experience with a Fortune 500 Company, Doug brings a wealth of knowledge to Cedar Valley. Already a business owner of a steel fabrication plant, he had great vision of what Cedar Valley could be and decided to make his passion for woodworking a business. Michelle was also a business owner and Real Estate Broker for over 20 years prior to joining Cedar Valley. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing/Art & Design from Northern Michigan University. Their Daughter Ava joined the business in 2024 as a High School Student and assists remotely with Customer Design Orders. Ava is currently pursuing a Marketing Degree at The University of Arkansas. Cedar Valley Box Company is truly a labor of love for our family. It has allowed us to do meaningful work we're passionate about. It's a privilege to work with our customers and fellow business owners and truly value the relationships we have developed through the years.
